In a rapidly changing world where the elderly are often left behind in the pursuit of progress, Smt. Vure Prameela stood still to listen to their silence. Witnessing the heartbreaking reality of seniors who, after a lifetime of sacrifice for their families, found themselves abandoned and lonely, she felt a profound calling. She realized that what they needed wasn’t just a shelter, but a sanctuary where their dignity would be restored and their wisdom celebrated.
Driven by this compassion, she established the Precilla Charitable Trust in 2017. With nearly a decade of dedicated service, she also successfully runs the Prameela Old Age Home, working tirelessly to create a safe haven for the destitute.
Smt. Prameela is not a distant administrator; she is the matriarch of this large family. From visiting wholesale markets to ensure nutritious meals are cooked within budget, to holding the hands of residents during their morning walks, she is involved in every heartbeat of the ashram. Her leadership is defined by love, ensuring that every resident feels the warmth of a true home.
